What you see is correct! This is Owen's response to Caleb practicing his bridges - or back bends, as I know them. And, yes - I took the picture upside-down, too! Just 'cuz!





And, HERE is the gymnast himself... notice the inability to lift his head off of the floor... but his abdomen is sooo much higher now... just three weeks after we first started practicing. WOW!!!

Caleb (with his nice, short haircut) colored this color by number page on.his.own. :) With a little help before he even picked up a crayon- sounding out the color names. Yeppers- *this* little man will be reading on his own in no time at all. :)

How I feel about princesses...

I totally stole err... borrowed this image from a talented artist (Bri Chan) ... she says, "I got tired of seeing all the D*sney princesses in the same old boring princess-y poses. Sometimes they just need to let loose and go crazy." True, so true. I want this print... BIG... in my classroom. Hahaha!

Read for me?

This is something I hear from Owen over & over. :) This sweet little boy wants to have 4-5 books in bed, on the potty, in a recliner...whereever. "Mommy, You read for me?"

Now it's an awesome time of unrushed potty training. He is calling the shots. He lets us know when he wants to potty... He gets so excited when he does his business...totally shocked when he urinates. So funny. But...he's had 2 wet diapers in the last 3 days AND NIGHTS!!!

I'm going to try not using pullups this go 'round. When he's had enough dry days, we'll go straight to underpants (if I can find tiny enough ones that is). Such a great time in my life right now. :)

It's up!

Thanks for the feedback, Tina & Meems. I worked feverishly yesterday and have the website up and ready to be viewed... I am going to add a blog and some more tweaks yet... but it's up & ready to go. I'm not in it to be competitive... just as an option for some people... and side monies for me. It's so fun to see how much people love what you present them - the final product. The small moments caught without their knowledge... the smile, the kiss, the look... I love it! What a blessing God has bestowed upon photographers!

Business

So... I am working feverishly on my tiny photography business. I am waiting on info about the website I am creating... and, in the mean time, I created a logo for myself.

Do you like it? Well, I think it's pretty groovy. I even put it on the last several shoots I did (proofs/online photos, anywho) and I ordered a set of business cards with it on there. So, even if you don't like it... tell me... even though, I asked too late... I could always change it for the website...

I hidin', Momma!

This is the laundry pass through from my dad's bathroom to the laundry room (we're looking at it from in the laundry room).

I hear a little voice coming from the cabinet - "I hidin', Momma! Come fine me!"

So, I grab the camera... and ...

"See? You fine me, Momma! I hidin'!"

This was quickly followed by:

"K. I all done!"
