Safe and sound. It was a good trip. We had an opportunity to get away and stole the time, greedily. Dad, Brant, Caleb, my growing tummy, and I went to Dallas this weekend. Here's a little recap of the events:
Friday. 3 pm: I sneak away from school and rush to get Caleb and get home.
4 pm: Dad picks up the Foster clan, and luggage, and away we go!
8:15 pm: We stop in Grand Prairie at my favorite restaurant. Tan's Mongolian BBQ. But, it's not BBQ...it's a grill place that you pick out the stuff, including meats, veggies, pasta, spices, and oils...and they grill it up on a huge, round, open-flamed griddle. It is marvelous. If you have a food allergy - I DO NOT recommend going...you always end up with someone else's goodies.
10 pm: arrive at the hotel, crash into the sleeper-sofa-bed
Saturday: 7 am: wake up, run downstairs and swim for an hour!
8:30: change for the day, and eat a yummy breakfast at the hotel
11:00: shop at Destination Maternity - doing a quick exchange of an online purchase that I did, recently; go see our friends, get the taxes done (finally!), and eat lunch at a place in downtown Dallas called Hook, Line, and Sinker. (Caleb is passed out for most of this, by the way)
2 pm: go to the awesome park across from our friends' house and take some pictures with my boys
5 pm: go let the "older" boys play at the Bass Pro Shop, and eat dinner at Cracker Barrel
9 pm: pass out at the hotel, barely conscious enough when we get there to change clothes.
Sunday: 7 am: repeat Saturday's events at this time (swim, hotel breakfast). *Insert in here a complaint about my upper-uterine pain. On a scale of 1-10, it's a 6. MAJOR headache, too. Neither went away until about noon.*
10 am: go to Borders, and Barnes and Nobles to look at books, and waste time before the next scheduled event.
12:30: meet our friends, again, for lunch at Fadi's Mediterranean. I was not brave enough to eat much there. My tummy has been upset.
3 pm: head home. Stopping only once to potty and get DQ snacks.
7 pm: home. Unpack. Get ready for the week. Oh, and blog.
Now that you are totally bored with the events of this weekend...here are some pictures. Enjoy!

FYI - This is what 30 weeks looks like:

I missed you, my friends...especially my church girls!
