So, after much stress, prayers, and travel this is it.
We are abundantly blessed! Owen's bladder test (VCUG) showed no urine reflux. That means when they filled it (with a catheter) the fluid did not go up into the ureters. YEAH! Owen's kidney function test (MAG3) showed that his kidney are filtering, draining and functioning perfectly (as in one is at 49.9% and the other is at 50.1%. 50/50 is perfect!). YEAH, AGAIN!!! There was no blockage. They weren't draining too slow. Just right. Better than good. :)
So, what does this mean? It means that chemically and functionally, Owen's kidneys are perfect! We go back to San Antonio in 3-4 weeks for another test that will check his anatomy. To be sure that nothing else is wrong. To make sure that he just has larger kidneys.

We went ahead for our vacation. We drove to Texarkana on Friday... Spent the night at a La Quinta... We drove 16 hours all the way to North Olmsted on Saturday. So, here we sit, enjoying our vacation...in the cool, and wet Ohio. Life is grand. Thank you, Jesus!

Glad to hear that the first results are good and that ya'll were able to continue on your trip! I know you were looking forward to that so much. Keep me posted on everything. We will have to catch up when you get back!
